Expansion of customer segment enhances client relations

bank zweiplus will being revamping its organizational structure step-by-step over the coming three months, subdivided into four business divisions: Direct Clients, Intermediaries, Banking Services and Corporate Center. Hence, the Bank is systematically expanding its customer segment.

“This reorganization underpins our strategic focus and provides the prerequisites for achieving our growth targets," declares Marco Weber, CEO of bank zweiplus. The Bank’s customer segment will no longer be structured according to country, but by client groups, in order to further foster relations with our customers. Consequently, the existing Financial Services Providers & Direct Clients division will be re-structured. The financial services providers will now be handled in the Intermediaries division, while direct clients will be serviced in the Direct Clients division, headed by Markus Hadschieff starting 1 June 2010.

Fabian Zeier will take over as Head of the Banking Services division as of 1 July 2010. The previous division head and member of the Executive Committee, Thomas Erb, will now assume the position of Head of Account & Service Management and provide reinforcement for the Bank’s key Intermediaries division as deputy of Roland Gassmann.

The reorganization will also result in a new formation of the Executive Committee. Under the leadership of CEO Marco Weber, Markus Hadschieff (Head of Direct Clients), Roland Gassmann (Head of Intermediaries), Fabian Zeier (Head of Banking Services) and Michael Moll (Head of Corporate Center) are members of the Executive Committee.

The new Executive Committee members
Markus Hadschieff (47) will head the newly created Direct Clients division. He last worked at JML Holding AG, Zug as a director. Previously, he was responsible for Corporate and Private Banking at Volksbank Vorarlberg Group in Austria as Head of Sales.

Fabian Zeier (38) will head the newly established Banking Services division. Previously, he worked in various positions at Falcon Private Bank over the past ten years, last as Chief Operating Officer (COO) Asia Pacific and Deputy Chief Executive of the Hong Kong branch office.
